Philanthropy Events

Anchor Splash, our fall philanthropy event, is a dance/synchronized swimming competition in which fraternities, service clubs, sports teams, and campus interest groups compete by performing a routine choreographed by our members. This is one of the most popular and well-attended events at Florida State University.

DG Desserts, our spring philanthropy event, is a walk-through dessert bar filled with delicious homemade treats. Our members make baked goods for our local community to come and enjoy.

Since 1936, our national philanthropy has been Service for Sight. Delta Gammas across the United States and Canada fundraise and volunteer their time (approximately 120,000 hours per year) to assist those who are blind or visually impaired. Five schools for children who are blind or visually impaired have been established by Delta Gammas and continue to thrive to this day. Donations from our fundraising events also assist in the area of grants to organizations which share our Service for Sight mission.
