Letter from Recruitment Chair
Dear Potential New Members,
143 North Copeland might just seem like an address right now, but soon it could become so much more.
Recruitment can feel like the most overwhelming experience, but it’s also the start of something so special and exciting. The people you meet, the conversations you have, and the connections you build can truly shape not only your college experience, but your entire life. Although we haven’t met yet, I already know that you have the potential to bring something truly so special to this community.
Delta Gamma has been that place for so many of us including myself. Being a part of this chapter has helped me grow into a more confident version of myself and given me friendships that I know will last long after college. I’ve been surrounded by people who push me, support me, and feel like home.
DG isn’t just about wearing our letters. It’s about finding people who make you feel like the best version of yourself. Finding your support system, the people that keep you grounded, and push you to do more than you thought you could. You’ll grow here without even realizing it! As a leader, a friend, and an individual, while making memories that will last a lifetime.
I can’t wait to see you create your own memories and grow into a version of yourself you’ve always hoped to become. There are so many exciting experiences ahead of you, so many moments that will shape your college experience, and people who will change your life in the best way.
I hope you take advantage of every opportunity that comes your way. Become passionate about philanthropy. Say yes to things that push you outside your comfort zone like leadership opportunities. Live in the house. Go to every event. Be the friend who always shows up. These are the moments that turn into memories you'll hold onto forever, and before you know it, you'll be wishing you could do it all over again. We truly can’t wait to welcome you through our doors in August. Wishing you all the best throughout the recruitment process!
All my love,
Carolina Marante
